I love books, nonfiction ones, to be exact. Whenever I pick up a history, how-to, or religious book, a whole new world opens for me. My wish is that you’ll enjoy these books as much as I have!

The Places that Scare You: A Guide to Fearlessness in Difficult Times by Pema Chodron. This Buddhist nun is so wise; she takes the ancient concepts that are the foundation of Buddhism and makes them so relevant for today’s world. Just opening the book and reading one paragraph brings me a deep sense of peace.

The Awakening of Universal Motherhood by Ammachi. Ammachi is a Hindu holy woman who travels throughout North America in the summer (schedule) to visit and bestow her blessings on regular folks like us. Just being in her presence enables people to release their fears and open their hearts--she’s truly life-altering. The book is a speech she gave to a group of women religious leaders in Geneva a few years back about peace and the role of woman and nurturing in our society. It’s a powerful little book!

The Disappearance of the Universe: Straight Talk about Illusions, Past Lives, Religion, Sex, Politics, and the Miracles of Forgiveness by Gary Renard. In a world of new-age philosophy books, this one stands way above the rest. It presents a totally new way of looking at the world, being in the world, understanding our true nature, taking responsibility for our lives, and ultimately going back to our source. It changed my life as it has the lives of my friends and clients--everyone I know who has read it, basically!

Must-Hear Music Sacred, Taliesin Orchestra. This CD is awesome. These artists have taken classic music and added a Celtic, new-age twist. It has tracks like Amazing Grace, Handel’s Messiah, and Mozart--music you know, except that you don’t! The compositions are so beautiful and so creatively done; they inspire and expand me.

Angelic Embrace, Dave Eggar. The most beautiful piano music I have heard in a long, long time. Great for background music when doing meditation, or giving astrology readings or a massage (my husband, Ed Lamadrid is an expert massage therapist so he should know!). So soothing, it’s like being hugged by a sense of peace.

Anchoring Spirit and Gentle Ocean, Stacey Wolf and Julia Gregory. Yes, me again--and Julia Gregory, one of the most talented new composers around. Take this guided meditation and you’ll meet your angels, spirit guides, higher self and divine soul parents. My revolutionary technique uses both the logical and intuitive parts of the brain to open this connection and anchor it in your daily life. There is a separate track of the music alone to use in your own meditations over and over again.

I haven’t been to the movies in a while, but here are my website recommendations: and Some call her the hugging saint. A blessing from this enlightened being touches your heart and soul. Her charities reach near and far. She even has ashrams all over the place. Check out her schedule, get a blessing and feel an instant, deep sense of freedom, peace, and joy. Along with Ammachi, Karunamayi has changed my life. Her unconditional love and compassion is palpable. Just being in her presence makes you feel expanded and inspired. She, too, travels through different cities in North America--and feeling her touch is very much worth the trip! This is a great site for teen and ‘tween girls--psychic sleepover party games, fun astrology lists (if you were a dog, what would you be?), celebrity astrology. Oh, did I mention, it's one of my sites? And you’ll find still more of me at Here are psychic exercises, testimonials, angel stories, and info on my books and private sessions. I send out a monthly newsletter with interesting info and powerful, channeled messages; sign up, I look forward to keeping in touch!
